Accounts Administrator (Ref: MDP_AccAdm_10_018 )


The right candidate will be required to manage our Company’s accounts payable and receivable function and to carry out various accounting duties within the Finance Department in such a manner that all financial transactions are processed accurately and on time. The responsibilities of this role include reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to internal and external suppliers, maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts, postings in the Company’s ledgers, preparation of bank reconciliation statements and preparation of journal vouchers. The successful candidate should have a background in Finance or Accounting and be familiar with bookkeeping.

The selected candidate will be responsible to:


  1. • Assist the Accountant in the preparation of the Company’s management accounts;

  2. • Manage the Company’s payable and receivable;

  3. • Participate in all accounting functions within the Accounts Department;

  4. • Record cost data to help management control expenditure.


Applicants are expected to:


  1. • Possess an Accounting Technician Diploma at MQF Level 5;

  2. • Have proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or a similar role;

  3. • Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations;

  4. • Hands-on experience with accounting software;

  5. • Have advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets);

  6. • Have solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors;

  7. • Good organisational and time-management abilities.
